    The GlowLine Bell Boot, designed and sold by Northeast EquiWellness, provides red light & near-infrared light therapy for the lower limb, fetlock, pastern, and hoof structures, in the form of a convenient rechargeable therapeutic boot.

    Whether your horse is shod or barefoot, their lower limbs and hoof structures experience load with every step. The fetlock, pastern, and hoof are constantly supporting weight and absorbing forces during movement, making them important areas to support, especially in horses that are:

    Why light therapy?

    With an irradiance of 120 mW/cm², this boot delivers both red and near-infrared wavelengths to support circulation, cellular energy production, and normal tissue recovery.


    Red light (650 nm) is often used for surface-level applications and may support circulation and normal inflammatory responses. Near-infrared light (860 nm) penetrates deeper into tissues and is used to support areas including fascia, tendons, ligaments, joints, and other deeper structures.


    Healthy circulation is an important part of tissue function and repair. Supporting blood flow and cellular activity can be beneficial for horses recovering from everyday training stress, soreness, swelling, and soft tissue concerns.


    Light therapy may be used as a supportive tool alongside your veterinarian's recommended care plan to assist healing of acute injuries and long term conditions of the hooves and lower limb.

    While designed for use around the hoof and pastern, the flexible design allows for additional applications. The boot can be positioned around areas such as the knee, fetlock, or hock, or secured over the poll area under a halter crown.
