The pad uses a combination of:

• Red light (650nm) for superficial tissue
• Near-infrared light (860nm) for deeper penetration

Contraindications for Use

• Do not use directly on cancerous growths.
• Do not use on recent burns.
• Do not use if horse is photosensitive (some medications can cause this, including tetracyclines).
• Do not use on an open wound.
• Light therapy should be used as a complementary approach to your horse’s existing veterinary care plan, not as a replacement
