bril·liant
/ˈbrilyənt/
adjective
1. (of light or color) very bright and radiant.
Packed with an irradiance of 120 mW/sq cm, this bell boot is truly brilliant, and perfect for delivering red and near-infrared light therapy to your horse's pastern, coronary band, and hoof structures. The red light setting is great for reducing swelling and improving circulation, while the near-infrared wavelength is extremely beneficial in targeting the deeper structures within your horse's foot. Reduced blood circulation is implicated in many hoof disorders including laminitis and chronic infections like WLD & thrush.
The feature of near-infrared light is a notable advantage, as this wavelength can penetrate beyond the skin into the superficial fascia, muscles, bones, joints, tendons, and ligaments.

Great for any situation that benefits from improved circulation, cellular repair, and anti-inflammatory effects.
As in humans, light therapy can SUPPORT horses with:
- Neuropathy
- Tendonitis, desmitis
- Degenerative joint disease / arthritis (features of ringbone & navicular syndrome)
- Wound healing and tissue repair
- Cysts / abscesses
- Swelling or "stocking up"
- Bursitis
- "Scratches" or dermatitis
Note we don't claim to cure these conditions -- light therapy is a supportive therapy meant to speed or enhance an existing treatment plan discussed with your veterinarian.
Capabilities:
- Red Light (650 nm)
- Near-Infrared Light (860 nm)
- Red + Near-Infrared Light (both at the same time)
- Continuous mode (best for inflammation/pain)
- Pulsed mode (best for cellular repair)
- Built-in battery rechargeable with included Type-C cable
- AUTOMATIC 15 Minute Timer
- You can get creative and use the bell boot for your horse's poll and limb joints. Slip the bell boot under the crown of your halter to hold it in place. Or, simply wrap it around the knee, fetlock, or hock to provide joint support.
Contraindications for Use
- Do not use directly on cancerous growths.
- Do not use on recent burns.
- Do not use if horse is photosensitive (some medications can cause this, including tetracyclines).
- Do not use on an open wound.
- Light therapy should be used as a complementary approach to your horse’s existing veterinary care plan, not as a replacement
Your boot will come with a 1 year manufacturers' warranty for any defects in the product.
